Day 10!

I honestly cannot believe I've made it this long.  I feel like it takes  aDay 10!

I honestly cannot believe I've made it this long.  I feel like it takes  a bit of preparation, but totally worth it since I've lost 8.3 lbs!!!  Hooray!

I have not switched up my meals very much, so they're boring - but here's a sample:

Breakfast:

Drops, Hot Tea & vitamins

Lunch:

2.5 oz of rotisserie chicken breast, mini cucumbers, apple & a melba toast

Dinner:

2.5 oz of rotisserie chicken breast, raw spinach drizzled in lemon juice, strawberries & a melba toast



Food Thoughts...

Melba Toast - I have tried whole wheat and salted plain melba toast.  I don't know if one is better than the other.


Meat - I tried 95% lean beef with taco seasoning one day and ate it over lettuce which was pretty good. Unfortunately, I did not lose anything the next morning. Such a bummer after eating so few calories that day. I will be sticking to chicken. I am going to try tilapia grilled this week.  I really like grilled/blackened tilapia at restaurants, so I hope I can make it at home and it will taste as good.

Reading, researching & pestering Rosie...

I am getting ready to start this journey and I am hoping to look back on this blog and be encouraged, because I am guessing that eating 500 calories for 40 days is going to be challenging...

I ordered my drops and hope to receive them tomorrow (Monday 9/12/16) and will start my 2 days of crazy eating Tuesday.  I will have Bunco at Brenda's that night and lunch with my friend Stephanie Wednesday.

I have been lucky to have an expert at church who has done this diet a few times and has been very successful.  She looks amazing and is an inspiration as she has 5 beautiful children and is a busy homeschooling mama.

I am reading Pounds & Inches at  http://www.hcgdietcouncil.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/POUNDS-INCHES-manuscript.pdf and am trying to gather all of the information I need to drop a lot of weight quickly.  I know I will feel better and look better and that will encourage me to exercise and get a pre-baby body back.
